App vs. Browser: Which Should You Use on 8zk?

Troubleshooting Common Installation Issues on 8zk
If you cannot download or install the 8zk app, check the following:
- Android unknown sources error: Go to Settings → Security (or Apps), find "Unknown Sources," and enable it. Then retry the APK download.
- Certificate or signature error: This means your device rejected the app's digital certificate. Update your device to the latest Android version, clear your browser cache, and download the APK again from our official website — never from third-party app stores.
- iOS "Untrusted Developer" warning: After adding 8zk to your home screen, go to Settings → General → Profiles, find the 8zk profile, tap it, and select "Trust." This tells iOS that you trust our web app.
- App crashes on startup: Uninstall the app, restart your device, and reinstall. If crashes continue, reach out to our support team via in-app help — we respond within minutes during business hours.
Data, Permissions, and Account Security on Your 8zk Mobile Device
When you install or open the 8zk app, we request certain device permissions to verify your identity, process payments, and send notifications. The Android app requests permission to access your storage (to cache market data), your camera (for optional ID photo upload during KYC), and your device ID (to prevent fraud).
